Hi ValueSnatcher, the trouble with SPP gaming is that almost all of the latest SPP offers are allocated on a proportional basis. The only small parcels I had that got a hit (so far) were NAB and QUB. The QUB entitlement is no good to me and NAB will be allocated on a proportional basis, so my 70 odd shares are not going to do me much good here either. I noticed even RHC is now saying in the SPP booklet the offer will be proportional to holding on the census date. As a result I took the strong market conditions today to get out of 25 odd small positions I had bought for capital raisings. After trying the system for around a year it hasn't done me much good. The SPP limit increase to 30K has effectively killed this strategy! Every decent offer is massively over subscribed and the NAB offer looks like it will be over by even more.
