What's a Tier 1 company?
Petroleum News:
"Using the Doyon 141 and 142 drill rigs, ConocoPhillips is planning to drill and test up to seven exploration wells this winter on its Willow (and West Willow) and Harpoon acreage in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska, although it is permitting 10 sites to maintain operational flexibility."
Always worth having a few spare permits in the back pocket, eh?
Not sure what Tier 88E is in (do they do decimals?) but even if C-P hit oil in all 7 of 10 wells, it will have a marginal affect on their sp.
On the other hand, if XCD/88E just get 1 of 1 wells to be successful, we will be in orbit.
Yer pays yer money, and takes yer chance - that is high risk investing!
So just for those who are evidently unaware, "share investments can go down as well as up".
