Hi Scarpa funny you mention Murrin Murrin I did a a small repair job on a 25 tonne forklift when civil works had just started and Twiggy's Anaconda was promising fortunes to all who invested . Anyway once it was finished and they had taken every shortcut possible to build the plant cheap. The titanium used in the autoclaves which was too thin and below par and cracking and they were constantly shutting down .
Twiggy knew it was a dud and too expensive to fix and was offloading his shares all the while telling the construction guys to buy shares knowing Anaconda was in a very precarious position . Then he went on to build FMG a great success story who would have thought at the time or even had any faith in him to do what he did at that time . Now he's gone from villain to a philanthropist and top bloke lol . I wonder if he's been checking AVZ out .
I do think AVZ has the potential to be like an FMG given the size of the resource.
Africa is now motivated and is on the move and changing fast yes sovereign risk is there but nowhere near as bad as some would have us believe.
If AVZ and Nigel Furgerson do things correctly with the construction of the plant no shortcuts it will be minting dollars imo I do see this opportunity to invest here so early and cheaply as a gift .
With this GR mob doing the DFS and construction AVZ are in very good hands imo they have plenty of experience in Africa.
