Obviously a major challenge as no one other than Longtime W has had a go. I think LTW failed to convert cubic metres to tonnes so I thinks his estimations are out by 2-2.5 immediately.
The historic mining and drilling dating back to 2001 is not that encouraging given that they mined 70,720dmt @ 2.66g/t for 6,051 oz of Au. Historic drilling established a resource of 127,000t @ 2.60g/t for a resource of 10,675 oz which I don't think would be profitable given the drill, blast, excavate and cartage to mill required.
I think the stage one and particularly the stage 2 drill results conducted thus far are much more encouraging but there are still a lot of NSI's or low grade intersections interspersed with intervals of excellent grades. The problem that I see is that a fair bit of dirt has to be moved and a sizeable hole made to access the high grade ore, particularly at depth and this will be expensive.
