Well, considering your style - there will be no tax considerations if you dont sell and because they dont pay dividends, there is nothing to declare.
As for expenses, I have opened up a basic International account with the guys at CBA. I would shop around though, if I had my time again and considering the changes CBA international desk made (whereby you submit the quote and cash before hand) I would look at Macquarie's international desk. The transaction fees at any institution is quite large so be careful what your buying.
