Ah politicians...
An opposition has to bag out the government, whether they're doing a good job or not, that's part of the game.
It is interesting though why Colin Barnett is indeed so keen to get Oakajee up and running, ahead of other infrastructure projects which need building in WA. (not that I'm complaining as a faithful long term MMX holder)
Perhaps OPR have given the new WA govt an indication that in these turbulent times, Mitsubishi are reluctant to part with a couple of billion dollars unless there is a show of support by the govt, in the form of a fistful of dollars.
I'm keen to hear a few viewpoints on this. Perhaps something is brewing behind the scenes, perhaps the outlook on iron ore is not so bearish after all, or the WA govt wants Mitsubishi's major investment dollars to continue flowing in.
