actually GB I am always on the hunt for good cobalt stocks because of the electric car thingo which is i why I picked up a few CWG. Warren Buffett recently put $250million into a Chinese lithium ion battery maker . Maybe if oil collapses electric cars wont happen and all bets are off...and cobalt collapses

but at the moment BHP are still asking US$31 a pound for cobalt compared to nickel at $5

funny thing there is some cobalt lying around the MCO tenemants as well, probably a copper/cobalt set up, I remember reading about it somewhere and will go off to find the source of that claim.

FIS's Mt Thirsty project is the most interesting cobalt play in OZ. Its got some unique characteristics which means they can leach the cobalt from the ore very rapidly with only 100kg of sulphur per tonne. early stage and risky , but if the world doesnt end and electric cars happen in a big way cobalt is one metal with great potential for investors. Chinese battery makers are sniffing around for cobalt deposits so CAPEX financing/offtakes can be done.
