Trying to figure out the timeline:
09th Apr - "Brolga Grows" announcement
16th Apr - AFR publishes cap raising rumour
16th Apr - DEG issues "denial" of cap raising in the near future
17th Apr - rising DEG share price
20th Apr - rising DEG share price
21st Apr - mild pullback in DEG share price
22nd Apr - "Aquilla and Brolga Results" announcement at market open
22nd Apr - Bell-Potter & Argonaut deliver cap raising proposal and is presented to DEG board after market close
23rd Apr - Surprise "Trading Halt with future Cap Raising" flagged - presumably this "locks out" other capital raising proposals from elsewhere?
28th Apr - "Details of Cap Raising" announcement
Its just a thought but I can't see how its in Bell-Potter's or Argonaut interest to leak to the AFR journalist, the other actors in this are possibly DGO, Azure, or someone within DEG itself. Surely its just a matter of working through the obvious motivations, timing and consequences of the leak to work out who leaked and why?
