re: golam I do respect the nerve and fortitude of traders.
I copped a $180,000 paper loss on HDR in 2001.
I held the 250,000 options when Courbine failed.
I held on because I believed that Mauritania was going to be big.
I exercised the options at 40 cents so now I'm comfortable.
What annoys me about Yogi is, I believe, he copped a bashing at the same time and, from his postings, never got over it.
Until his reply tonight, he has never given any credit to the long term holding, or investment in Mauritania through holding HDR.
He seems to rely on star/astro patterns for his trading.
To me, especially with oil stocks, is total bullshit.
It's what's in the ground predicted by seismic analysis and interpolation etc, is that what matters.
Where does he get his 1.83 1.90 figures from?
By the way ... I am not Chinguetti, the other HDR true believer, although Yogi insists I am.
