The airlines were hammered after 9/11. People started flying again. I think it will be the same here too, after a few years or so.
1) Lots of us have family abroad we want to go and see or have come here. 2) No shortage of people at home going "I HATE THIS LOCKDOWN! I NEED A HOLIDAY!". 3) Unis will eventually start courting those cashed up foreign students again. 4) People having a bit less money makes cheap flights over to Bali look more appealing. 5) Young Harry and Imogen at Scots College/Geelong Grammar/Insert Poncy Private School Here just HAVE to go on their European/SE Asian Gap Years before taking up that place at UMelb or Oxford....
