Think about it this way... Pubs and clubs are shut which mean that we don’t have access to poker machines, TAB’s are also shut and there is no football, cricket etc. being played to bet on....
So where else is left for fools to go to be relieved of their money?
There was actually an article on this the other day in the paper.... the answer of course is ASX penny stocks (apparently ASIC has noticed a large increase in retail trading volume)....
Mini bonfires with Aussie currency (which is made of polymer) could create toxic fumes, and even though in most cases the result is the same, does not create (to borrow one of your terms) the same hopium as pokies, betting on football or investing in penny stocks...
Plus you never know when the pyramids are going to be on all the lines to win the feature!!! There have to be some winners so that the casino can lure in more punters...
