you have eloquently put into words my feelings. As even the BBC are saying, the US got us into this mess, and yet they expect the world to prop their currency up? To paraphrase the BBC, the USA have been writing cheques that, to date, no one is cashing. That gives the USA ultimate spending power.
Time will come soon when those holding foreign USD reserves (as treasury bonds) will want to see the colour of the money. What's Ben going to do, print even more???
