Sasol doesn't use the FT method right, they use direct catalysts? Isn't the real problem with gas to liquids and coal to liquids you need a huge amount of water and very high emissions? In China they are looking at methanol and Dymethol ether in a big way but haven't pressed the button on it yet due to the above problems.
