Thanks Rich and Poor.
Let me see if I am getting this correctly
We currently have about 90M shares on issue and BNYMC holds 22M of them. So if my understanding is correct 22M shares have been bought on the ASX by HSBC over the last x number of years and then transferred to the USA and BNYMC in particular so that BNYMC can sell them to USA citizens or companies.
ie. approx 24% of our share register is currently sitting in the hands of USA citizens or companies.
If those US entities want more shares and nobody in the US wants to sell at the price they want to pay, if shares are available on the ASX at an attractive price then BNYMC will instruct HSBC to buy more shares for them, so increasing the number of shares held in the US and increasing the US share of our registry.
Questions
------------
a) Are we able to see a list of which US entities or citizens are holding KZIA shares, ie a Top 20 shareholder list for the US.
b) What if the US entities or citizens get bored with KZIA and want to sell their shares at any price can they be sold back to the ASX. Or, once they have been transferred to the USA do they stay there forever.
Personally I think it is a big positive that nearly a quarter of our company is held by US entities/citizens and I am just trying to get my head around how it all works.
