FLN hasn't produced the revenue growth over the past few years that was hoped for, but it is also the only game in town to gain 40m freelance customers in one hit.
Both UWPK and FVRR have strikingly different target markets, and either could convincingly argue the combination of FLN's user base with their "modern marketing approach" could result in a win.
I think either could be sniffing around FLN, as if the other succeeds, it would leave the other in a difficult position.
The best outcome for FLN, of course, would be competing offers.

While the share register means no action can happen without Matt and Simon being convinced, it also means they hold their own destiny.
I could imagine, for example, Matt might sell the platform but keep Escrow, with an agreement the purchaser uses Escrow for payment in future. $2 might be a stretch right now, but there are ways a deal could get done that pleases all shareholders.
