Now here is something else to think about....
Very few of the recent capital raisings by the large caps have involved actual rights being issued. They have mostly been those new-fangled accelerated virtual rights issues.
Having actual rights trading creates new levels of opportunity for on-market scamming and manipulation, so watch out.
You don't need that long a memory to recall all the bizarre shenanigans of the last massive Minara rights issue ( 14 for 1 at 5c apiece, remember that one ?? ).
Its also curious that rights are only available to shareholders in Australia, New Zealand, and SWITZERLAND . I haven't seen that obscure combo of eligible countries before.
