It's a bit odd, but unfortunately there doesn't appear to be much relationship between tin stocks and prices on the LME during the last five years, but inventories are certainly low http://www.metalprices.com/pubcharts/Public/Tantalum_Price_Charts.asp .
At least tantalum has roughly doubled in price over that time period http://www.metalprices.com/pubcharts/Public/Tantalum_Price_Charts.asp .
