Thanks for highlighting the competition from Oxymem in the Chinese market.
The biggest selling point I think is the part where they mentioned there is "no need to drain tanks or stop processes" while they plug in the OXY units. SUBRE may requires a scheduled upgrade.This is an area we could ask during the AGM or the next presentation, and perhaps there are reasons why SUBRE is done the way we do it or can SUBRE be deployed in the same manner of plug and play without the need to drain the tanks or stop processes at the municipal WWTP, as there are already existing aeration units at the bottom of the tanks?
The Strength of FLC is the number of reference sites we have in China, hundreds. In the Oxymem presentation, they mentioned 5. Beijing, Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Not sure if they are demo/research/test or operating sites. However, they have more reference sites in Europe.
They seem to be focusing more on the retrofit market, decentralization units was only a brief mention. What was highlighted is a unit that occupies 4 sq meter of space, a volume of 10 cubic meter (ie 2.5m high) and has a maximum capacity to treat up to 150 m3/d of wastewater. I feel our Aspiral units are more superior here in comparison.
As @barry1990 has rightly put, the market is big enough for more players, validation builds upon validation and let MABR be accepted as a norm for wastewater treatment processes in the future. May we see our one line at Changzhou increases to 2,3 and 4 lines and operating at 3 shifts in the not too distant future.
