I don't completely disagree but we need to be careful. China has spread it's influence into countries like Africa so it's ability to source raw materials(iron ore/base metals) is increasing. I think we just need to work quietly with the other major western democracies to move manufacturing away from China. That way we cover our bums on resources and potentially spark a bigger boom by helping other 3rd world countries out of poverty
