Yes I am very interested in the suburbs which are benefiting in this climate. I note that Dandenong and Seaford are doing well.
Low entry, good rental returns. I really like Seaford because of the new freeway access and the proximity to the ocean.
As far as James Packer goes, he is the third generation, that is the generation that usually squanders the wealth. I don't expect James to be the second, third, fourth or even tenth richest Australian by the time he is in his 60's.
I think a whole raft of hungry new entrepreneurs will displace him and all the other inherited wealth, new generation rising up.
As far as Melbourne/Sydney goes, there is so much to say but I see positives in both, I tend to look for positives rather than negatives, it is a curse.
Melbourne is cruising, steady as she goes, quietly beavering along, few spikes, few dives, even flow baby.
