Unless SSR arrange for CDIs on the ASX then you will not be able to sell on the ASX because they are not listed on the ASX at present. (I earlier referred to ADRs which is an equivalent US arrangement for foreign companies). However, the post from Meteor below indicates that Alacer are looking for SSR CDIs to be accepted on the ASX. In which case, holders of AQG CDIs on the ASX can expect their current CDIs to be converted to CDIs in SSR at the proposed merger ratio for Alacer and SSR. You will then be able to trade your SSR CDIs in the same way that you can trade AQG CDIs today.
I think Colinchi is scaremongering and probably hoping that readers will dump their shares so that he can pick them up at a subdued price.
Of course, until the FL sings there is no guarantee of SSR listing CDIs on the ASX but it seems as though the Alacer Board is supporting it.
