Lithium accounts for ~1.5% of the mass of energy storage products. There is more aluminium than lithium in batteries.
Elon Musk said that technically Li-Ion batteries should be referred to as Nickel Graphite batteries.
Once Elon's Battery Day passes, the global market for energy storage product supply chains will change forever.
Also worth mentioning is that companies like CXO can only produce product using fossil fuels because they have no vision.
