Just about everything about that post was incorrect. I can see you're new here and only your second post so perhaps you sohuld try doing some research before making a fool of ourself.

"Lithium is priced as a precious metal and used as an industrial metal in car batteries"

Lithium cost about $7/kg about the same as Nickel.

"Car manufacturers want a cheaper alternative so that the gains from cheaper energy are available to them and not to lithium producers."

A car battery pack may contain 2 kg of lithium that's say $15 worth. The battery itself may cost $7,000 but that's because of the engineering of it and bound to get cheaper as technology progresses.

"Ultracapacitors, zinc batteries, salt batteries, enhanced lead acid batteries, enhanced MgFe batteries and their hybrid combinations are all cheaper. Compressed air has possibilities."

Maybe cheaper but also heavier, carry less charge or completely unproven.

    "Lithium is a technology play"

Yep. Its the technology all the major car manufacturers are moving towards regardless of your opinion.

"Argentina is a huge risk. Asset confiscations are commonplace."

    Name one.
