i beleive consumer confidence is a factor with these overseas banks.
If i was an overseas bank atm i would prob want to write down everything toxic now so that the economy can move forward instead of having a large corporation collapse in intervals (e.g sept - Lehmans, nov - allco, dec - prob centro)
