What you need to know about KYK

Thought I would post- given its likely many new investors will be pouring in given the rise on Frida & what is emerging in the chart.

Not many longer term players around - I've been in for about 3 years- however I did sell in the WTC related spike, then bought back in.

KYK is different business to fintech - as I mentioned in a post around the time that Richard White took a stake, cycles for these kind of businesses take much longer than you might like.

Revenue is extremely lumpy - contract values start very small, but over time grow after your intrenched in a bank. It takes years to get into a bank- months and months of offering services for free under pilot before you will get a conversion.

The contracts KyK has are extremely important- the larger banks announced are done on very low / poor terms for KYK- but are essential in showing the market that the tech works & staff like using the platforms. Its the corporate market where the money is - 2nd tier lenders & names you would never heard of that will prove to be what pays us longer term.

The key with investing in KYK is to look at the board- big punt betting the back end of your career on a start up You watch, there's deals that will be done of the back of these contacts. Undoubtable that Richard White would have already tipped them into suitable relationships.

This wont ever be a billion $$ company- don't kid yourself, their tech is not that good and there are too many players out there doing the same thing. However, I do expect more contract wins to flow over the coming few months - you could see this business growing to a $100M cap over the next few years which from here is a 5X return. Longer term- it will get taken over by whoever bus illion.
