What is the basis for doubling the silver if the Grupo ground of Mesa de Plata is acquired by AZS? Nowhere has any company statement indicated that the silver resource continues into the Grupo ground.
I believe there is a good chance of the silver runs into the Groupo side. Obviously we don't know how much unless we get to access and sink some holes. It has been discussed at past AGMs of obtaining Groupo's side but there have only been discussions.
The recent drilling program was interrupted by the pandemic before it was complete.
Actually it had been completed at Loma Bonita. The gold extension wasn't as extended as expected. So they ceased drilling there and decided to sink a few holds at the new copper site instead.
The question I have is have they progressed working on updating the LB resource while field exploration has been suspended in lockdown? It's not very clear if they have. If they haven't then that would appear to have been wasted during the lockdown.
The sales of concentrate from Oppo were also way overdue which indicates to me that they weren't that much interested. The C19 lockdown provides a good excuse to suspend that operation. Post C19, not looking any better economically anytime soon.
A lot more clarity from the company on all the above would be welcome.
