for each stock you must use one method

however you can use different methods for different stocks

for example, you can use market price for AFG and cost price for BHP

if you wish to reduce your tax for a certain year then you choose the lowest valuation for each share

(however this means paying higher tax the next year given your opening stock for the next year must have the same value as your closing stock for the previous year)
