Re your very last sentence though there are not many "coming months" left for the Federal Government to commit to some really substantial funding before the options expire.
I think they (the govt.) might well have considered this 8 to 12 months back when a collection of pollies were coming and going.

We,(of this forum) reckoned at the time they would not announce any large commitment until proof of concept was established.
To their minds "illuminating a light bulb with heat energy from the earth" sort of thing.
The political risk of committing heavily to a company which ultimately didn't achieve what it had claimed would be too damaging.
So we wait for the Innaminka Tea Party to happen.
