Why bother trying to stretch the wrongdoing by officials to reach Obama, when AG Barr, lambasted by Dems as a political hack for Trump, says it doesn't?
It doesn't need that extra step to hold together as an appalling bit of partisan treachery by public servants on the taxpayer's dime.
I expect Durham will catch up with some of them - fewer than some others expect, because, of course, charges require the identification of specific criminal offences. It also didn't take many players to enact.
These political conspirators didn't have to commit criminal acts to undertake their conspiracy because the system let them pursue their goals without having to commit offences. Many of them were powerful operators in the very system they were exploiting to partisan ends - the justice system.
Maybe the patchwork record of the two-stage justice system in the US has inurred citizens there to 'just another example', but it seems a devastating and disturbing example to me, deliberately impinging on a Presidential election.
