The manufacturing of therapeutic goods and other advanced materials is what this company does. It is part of this company's growth profile to diversify into new materials and new applications.
E.g. Do you want them to not supply aluminium oxide to Saint Gobain to put into Apple iPhones? That would be a mistake.
The board is doing what any reasonable business would do, pursue new opportunities - and they have created a new product that is clinically proven to be 99.99% effective which they can manufacture within their existing licensed TGA facility.
The ASX's questions are mostly a joke, if the ASX cannot even understand the relationship between ANO and Antaria - they have serious issues internally.
