Just trying to play devils advocate here before I start looking down the sofa for a spare $29,999.97.
While BYE have demonstrated a knack for getting projects on time and on budget and have demonstrated a high confidence in the oil field SM58 (they went 100% in), which is backed up by drill results and an excited oldgeo (where is he?). Why do we think that oil is going to recover in the USA? Unlike Australia, their covid numbers are nowhere near base line and opening up the economy now, is sure to bring on a second wave? We literally have tankers full of crude off the coast, costing their owners a daily rate, so ensuring they will want to unload and unwind the deal as quickly as possible. Why are we drilling for more? Please feel free to explain why I am an imbecile.
