There is so much politics involved in this Centro issue, not the least of which a New Zealander in effect deciding on the fate of the Australian Listed Property Sector.
Big business in this sector could rightly be out for his blood so to speak if he doesn't tow the line. That's just my opinion. Allco was very much a stand out. For what it's worth, I think Centro is a force to be reckoned with if only due to the potential fallout. I also think BNB (though i don't like the company) is also a force to be reckoned with and should not be lumped in with Allco and ABC Learning.
Rest assued being CEO of a bank most definitely IS a popularity contest.
