Today was the day the market finally realized the following:
- EML is now a diversified global payments company in multiple geographies and verticals which helps buffer short term headwinds in parts of the business.
- the management has proven to be sensible with the PFS deal restructure
- 60%+ of revenues are now from GPR
- MasterCard are taking EML into new countries (NZ) in order to launch new programs !! this is a huge vote of confidence.
- balance sheet is bullet proof and the company is throwing off a lot of free cash.
- Breakage is now proven to be quite a handy cash cow of the business in times of reduced profits.
- Covid19 is accelerating takeup of EML Mobile solutions
- VANs takeup should accelerate
- gift card division has rebounded nicely in May (only down 53%) compared to some forecasting zero. all this while malls in North America are closed!
- Acquisitions opportunities will emerge next year.
