If anything the last few announcements have improved vastly and HCT seem to have gotten this previous issue under control.

Why do think we have missed the boat?
The demand will only go up as the world starts to ease restrictions, people start to move around and go back to work etc.
Airports start to open up as well as other public areas and transport with high traffic areas and congestion, which is why we're trialling the ISR robots at HK airport.

Incidentally what was your time frame when you bought into HCT or were you hoping for a quick doubling of price and get out and that's what you've convinced your wife and family members was going to happen?
