I don't like the whole idea of performance incentives...surely they should do their job to the best of their abilities, do we give surgeons a "performance bonus" if every patient they operate on pulls through....surely they should do their best every day and not pull out the extra effort only when a carrot is dangled...they're already getting well paid and it's hardly like they have been impressive so far.
