Postings from people like you make it worthwhile staying on H.C. - I was quite disgusted when I read the vengeful ravings of some of the others here, very tempted to put them on ignore, as I believe they have nothing worthwhile to say on any other issue either. It's possibly a good thing, they can vent on here.
I have no sympathy for the Bali bombers, they're/were an immature and stupid lot who thought killing foreigners was an easy road to heroism. An age-old remedy for lack of power in all sorts of areas, the most important one is possibly economic. Well by now they've probably met their maker or not - I'll reserve that judgment for my day of truth. The less said about those pathetic human beings, the better.
I also feel Aussies can do a lot more to improve their cultural sensitivity when it comes to travelling to places that are Muslim (like Bali). If you ever go overseas and watch the holidaymakers come aboard from Bali, you really don't want to know them - so I guess resentment has been building for a long time there, particularly when THEY are subject to a repressive religion, and face a daily struggle with poverty.
