Gas generation? I don't think so. Even with major government incentives, what business would invest in gas generation with the cost of S and W falling year on year with no end in sight?
It is one thing for IFN to buy Smithfield at a deeply discounted price and use it 2-8% of the time and quite another to build new for a similar use pattern. Baseload? Tell 'em they're dreamin'!
The Morrison ministry is as blinkered as Green ideologues.
