Thanks for responding. Silly me, I'm actually aware that Balinese are predominantly hindu, I own some lovely carvings of Hindu gods and goddesses from there. I guess our Aussie 'funseekers' visit mainly Bali, but when they come aboard they're from all over the place, and on the whole they're nothing to be proud of. But then, in the past I've felt the same about some German-speaking tourists in foreign countries, and always pretended I don't understand them. I have not travelled recently, so things may have changed.
In some people touring another country brings out the worst in them, particularly when they move in tribes.
