Have saod for some time governments could and should get behind mining projects. Not.just HAV but amy miner with a feasible project and good economics as the flow on effects down the employment line would generally make it cost neutral even positive to government.
Expansion of rural austrlaia and the expansion of ifrastructire to these areas is a win win.
Just wont happen due to governments would.be going back in time if they started playing in the private sector.
Though thungs could change in this world today we live.
