fair enough imperial, thanks for the clarification i wasn't sure who you were referring to. Had not heard of the other incident but if the same people where involved then something should definately be done and i' sure someone will take them to task.
fone geeks, agree 100%. cowards. pure and simple cowards. offer them in the ring, one on one and they cower away. nowhere to hide in the rind you see and noone else to take the punches for you ;)
atomou, boxing is one of the oldest sports there is. but there are boxers and there are boxa's. the later think they are tough, some are but they usually lack gentleman like qualities. Boxers on the other hand, of which Danny green is an example to all are professional athletes who push their body to the extremities and push through more pain than many human beings will experience in their life time, both mentally and physically. A comment like yours is simply illinformed, have you ever been inside a gym? seen the respect a fighter has for his trainer? for his opponent, before and after a bout. Have you seen a wayward kid find his niche in the world and become a better person for it. Have you seen the respect a fighter has for his extended family whom train by his side, for the actual environment itself? Then again I suppose we could ban the sport and let these boxers become boxa's on the street and terrorising the neighbourhoods.
