    If someone bought at 60c on the way down and didn't sell at say 50c are they worse off for being "impatient" and taking a loss instead of having patience and seeing their shares now around 25c?

    The stock market is littered with stories of companies that rose sharply on "expectation", fell back substantially when the "expectation" did not arrive as quickly as expected and fell even lower when it became clear to all that the "expectation" would never eventuate.

    I'm not saying that will happen with LUM. I'm just making the general point that because a stock rose sharply on "expectation" and then fell back sharply DOES NOT MEAN that the "expectation" will be delivered to enable the share price to recover.
