According to a story in today's press, there is a promising new drug to stop alzheimers, (stops it but doesnt repair existing damage) being tested on patients over the past year. They do not say what it is called or who the developers are, only that it is in a jab format. So don't know if anything to do with SLA, probably unrelated but possible.
