yes 'untamed beast' is very apt when it comes to gold, just when everyone is bullish, you have to be cautious, the bear market that followed the big run up to 2011 was brutal, the main issue there was the Fed trying to 'normalise' rates, the gold market freaked out, I think there's a fair chance that will happen again at some point, but I still think it will break new USD highs before that happens
