I think WSA has put their foot on an interesting asset, but not without challenge. The nickel grade at Savannah North is not particularly great although good credits from cobalt and copper. Key will be getting the design throughput and the economies, WSA are technically good operators. One of the problems PAN faced was being undercapitalised and then experienced technical difficulties mining. Hopefully this is sorted through the raise and WSA provides some technical input. WSA don't have a lot of spare cashflow as Odysseus is being built ($300m project). I do think it is a cheap option and worth backing their technical and mining expertise. Not a lot of good sulphide nickel ore projects around and the next generation of batteries require sulphide nickel ore and cobalt.
