Rig has to be set up and then 30" conductors have to be hammered in before drilling proper can begin. 6 conductors to go in so thats about a weeks work I reckon. Rig got on location on saturday pm.
Re weather.....tolerances are tight for getting a jackup rig parked next to a platform. Positioning has to be spot on and when youre a foot away from the platform any swell can cause the rig to collide with the platform and cause huge amounts of damage.
