It has happened before from MWR - before the JB deal was announced there was a voluntary suspension. My take on it is that there are a few more "i" 's to dot and "t" 's to cross before the announcement comes out.
It could be that the company was a bit nervous that if they delayed calling the trading halt, the SP may have moved too much and there would be questions asked, so decided to go early with their announcement to market.
Not an issue, I think. Still expecting very positive news.
