historical snapshot - got dumped by NAB (had to clean up their mess), paid £1.7bn (~$3.4bn - almost $1bn higher than our current mkt cap) to buy virgin only to be hit with double whammy BREXIT + PPI saga and when they finally clean all that mess and position us for growth.....hit with a COVID slap in the face....
Baptism by fire - will only make this stronger - battle hardened, lean, cleared the decks and now ready to launch a counter offensive.
