It read to me as if in the absence of having access to complete the analysis of the "Primary Lot" of wafers, instead of sitting on their backsides, gone and done something proactive in getting WD and IMEC in the room together, getting a "Secondary Lot" together as an insurance policy for themselves in case the "Primary Lot" doesn't end up being the way forward. The bonus of all this is that WD was at the table, so would have been able to give further specificity to what they're looking for, so for me, this only increases the chances of a WD buyout if it comes off.

Also agree with the timeline above, this should be wrapped up by December when the IMEC contract ends, but there should be a steady stream of news from now until then (not that it will all be 100% positive).
