fair enough. It was a general Q/comment, a hypothetical as I haven't been around the market for 30 years.... If say, I wanted to grab hold of a listed company that I fancied, I would increase my share position over a time, together with others (collusion) and then when the time is right, sell down discreetly until it bleeds, then walk into their HQ and make them an offer. I suppose its manipulation, scam, I don't even know if its illegal? I don't even know if its happened before (i.,e where they get caught and its proven that's what they did).
