Hi Roundtable,
I think the refinancing is very important but when it happens i wouldnt be suprised if the SP didnt move that much. More important to getting the share price moving upwards is the commodities markets( and general markets) moving in the right direction with a bit of confidence back in the markets again.
Fundamentals for most stocks have gone out the window over the last year (as well as a lot of technicals) and predicting prices is near impossible.
Although CUO has hedging in place and the $A has weakened counteracting some of the drop in Cu price the CUO SP still runs in line with what the copper price is doing ( which may be more CUO running in line with XMJ which follows the Cu price) Have attached a couple of charts, one CUO compared to Cu price and the other CUO and XMJ.
As long as the refinancing is in place and everything running to plan i think CUO will be a good position to run up well when the general sentiment finally changes.
Cheers Fero
